Randall is originally from Fort Myers, Florida and served as a leader on a youth missions’ team to Guatemala when it became very clear that God was calling Randall & Jackie to serve on the mission field.
In 1963, Jackie was a newborn baby abandoned in the garbage dump of Seoul, Korea, until one day a missionary nurse found her. She was adopted and raised in rural Manhattan, IL God is using Jackie and her story to encourage and minister to adult adoptees throughout Latin America in a support group of Alianza Cristiana para los Huérfanos (ACH). She co-authored a bilingual children’s book, “Whose Am I?” that was released in February 2024. The book is based on her adoption story and shares about our worth and identity in Christ.
In December of 1992, they moved to Guadalajara, Mexico in order to begin an intense study of the Spanish Language. After graduation the following October, they moved directly to Guatemala and for the next eight years, they directed and facilitated a home for orphaned and abandoned teenagers. During those years, they ministered to a total of 17 youth. Living with them on a full time basis, they were able provide a family atmosphere as well as meeting their educational, physical, and spiritual needs.
From 1998 through 2012 they served as Guatemala Country Directors for Go To Nations. They brought oversight and care to the team of missionaries that God entrusted to them. During that time, God gave Randall & Jackie a vision to build and establish a Ministry Base, which is now a reality and located just outside of Guatemala City. This awesome ministry tool continues to be a huge blessing to many and is used for various ministry gatherings as well as hosting teams.
In November of 2002 they started the ministry El Oasis and for 17 years they shared the Gospel with women who worked in prostitution in downtown Guatemala City.
With over 30 years of full time mission’s experience, they are more passionate than ever to see people’s lives transformed by God’s saving grace. As directors of Start With One Global they are focused on igniting the passion of Christ in people’s lives and empower the vision God has given them.
They have been happily married since October 1, 1988 and enjoy their adult kids Caleb, his wife Kassy and Jenna who were born and raised in Guatemala.
