Eight years ago, Pastor Luis Villanueva shared his vision to build the first evangelical church in the small village town of El Molino, Cuilapa. With the help of Start With One, Pastor Luis dreamed of a self-sustainable project of a 100,000 coffee plants. Over the last seven years, with the sales from the coffee plant nursery run strictly by the pastor and his church members, it was able to generate enough funds to buy their land and build their church. The men from Peoples Church in Bourbonnais, IL have come down each year from the very first ground-breaking team (2013) to the dedication service this past Saturday, February 22nd. They sweat a lot and worked so hard to help set up the irrigation, the nursery, and help with the church construction each year. What an amazing labor of love and great testimony for all of us to experience this weekend! Over the past seven years, the congregation of Iglesia Bethel, the various mission teams, and Start With One have worked together to help this God given vision become a reality. Our home church Fraternidad Cristiana even donated their church pews. This church building will be a tremendous tool to reach their community with the Gospel of Christ. Thank you so much to all the men of Peoples Church and other mission teams who came down to serve the Lord and empower this body of believers. To God be all the glory!
